Miksi Early Access?

Cactus Flats is being developed in layers. The current build focuses on a survival-driven economic roguelike experience, and Early Access allows us to refine balance, pacing, and long-term progression with community feedback.
The frontier economy is designed around volatility, rising pressure, and player adaptation. Early Access gives us the opportunity to improve clarity, expand systems, and iterate on difficulty based on real player data before the full release.

We currently expect Cactus Flats to remain in Early Access for approximately 12–18 months, depending on the scope of upcoming updates and community feedback.
We want to ensure each major expansion meaningfully improves the overall experience before moving to full release.

The Early Access version focuses on the core survival economy mode.

We plan to expand the game with:
• Frontier combat scenarios and farm defense encounters

• A story-driven frontier adventure mode

Our goal is to evolve Cactus Flats from a pure economic survival experience into a broader frontier survival adventure, while preserving the strategic depth of the core systems.

Additional systems and content are actively in development.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We plan to gradually increase the price as major content updates are released throughout Early Access.
Players who join early will receive the game at its lowest price point and gain access to all future updates included in the full version.

Cactus Flats is a survival-driven economic roguelike set in the harsh Wild West. Build your homestead from the ground up while volatile crop markets shift each month and rising taxes steadily tighten the noose.

Each season brings new seed availability, unpredictable market swings, and harder financial pressure. Expand too quickly and you’ll drown in debt. Play too cautiously and you’ll fall behind.

Study trends. Take calculated risks. Adapt to the frontier economy.

Collapse is inevitable.

• Dynamic Crop Markets — Prices fluctuate monthly based on volatility and seasonal demand. Read the trends and exploit the right moment.

• Limited Monthly Seed Supply — Only three crops are available each month. Adapt your strategy or risk stagnation.

• Escalating Tax Pressure — The longer you survive, the tighter the squeeze. Smart expansion is the difference between growth and collapse.

• Survival Run Structure — Every run plays differently. Failure teaches. Survival length measures mastery.
