Why Early Access?

“Our studios main goal with the games we develop is player enjoyability gained from player feedback, no update that players don't want will be shipped. We intend to utilize this early access nature to gauge what players do and don't like throughout our updates and to deliver only what players want. Hopefully by the end of our early access journey, by using this feedback, we can create a game that both we and the players are proud of an enjoy.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan for this game to be in early access for about a year, during this time we hope to have consistent and often updates that will add something meaningful every time.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our full version of this game hopes to have a huge catalogue of monsters and a collection of maps, besides that the core gameplay will remain more or less the same. That being said based on player feedback we may add new mechanics such as new game modes.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently at release we have around 10 monsters and 1 map, within the coming months we hope to add another map and to expand on our current map, we also plan to have at least one new monster every 2 weeks. Other updates will interlace these updates such as lobby improvements and QOL but will not replace the intended new content updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price in full release will likely increase. During all of early access we will keep the price consistent and will give a warning in advance when we plan to leave early access allowing players time to purchase at the lower cost still.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community is key for Grimm Work, we plan to poll players on what monsters seem interesting and take this public opinion to heart for this game. If we have designed a monster and the players overwhelmingly hate it, its gone. We also hope to include players own monsters in our game and hope to have events and rewards in our discord for players to pitch ideas for the game and for new monsters.”

About This Game

In Grimm Work, monsters from all sorts of cultures have begun to run rampant leaving a wake of chaos behind them. How well can you and your companions survive the terrifying creatures from days past? Tasked by the gods of order to bring balance back across space and time, you will find yourself immersed in locations of this realm and others in times of future, past and today.

The Monsters

With a large collection of monsters no run will be the same! Monsters stemming from religions, folklore, and original creations take life each equipped with their own mechanic to deal with. Not to worry though, with your trusty monster compendium provided by the society no monster stands a chance, knowledge is power in the world of Grimm.

The Locations

The locations of Grimm Work stretch from modern day labs to ancient temples not even in this world. With a procedurally generated map no two runs will be the exact same. With the society of orders lodge acting as your brief respite from the hunting, you will seamlessly enter a multitude of different locations that need to be cleansed. Be careful though, this seemingly peaceful lodge may become your tomb if the gods of order are not appeased.

Teamwork is everything

Your fellow members of the society are your lifeline, lone wolves will have a tough time tackling the many entities of chaos. Proxy-chat is the suggested way of communication with your team of up to 8 members, be careful though, some monsters may take advantage of your ability to communicate. Although your fellow members can help you, they may also use you to help save themselves…
