About This Game

Uncharted Sectors is a sci-fi grand strategy game that blends deep economic simulation, meaningful player management, and AI-directed narrative orchestration.
You will build and govern your own frontier domain on the edge of a decaying galactic empire, within a living and dangerous procedural sector. Your success depends on your ability to master the economy, balance societal interests, and secure vital goods through colonization, diplomacy, military action, or trade.

It is a game about crafting your own story of power, ambition, and resilience, a grand strategy experience that plays more like a pen-and-paper campaign than a map-painting simulator.

An AI storyteller will co-author, by your side, interesting stories about your domain. Your planets have their own quirks and feel, your people make their presence known, and the wilderness of the surrounding sector will test your efforts and keep you on your toes.

The game revolves around a very deep economic system, with dynamic market prices, configurable buildings, autonomous traders, and detailed population groups that have their own economic needs and preferences. These populations make purchasing decisions based on goods’ traits, origin, quality, and price - not fixed categories.

Ever wanted to feed your people only gourmet Alien Pâté? Or become the genius inventor of a magic weight-loss pill everyone’s begging for? Or maybe you'd like to flood the galaxy’s battlefields with the biggest, baddest, and meanest guns ever made? Well, thanks to our economic system, you can! Populations, industries, and governments will buy and use your goods, provided they’re suitable for their needs.

This is not a map-painting simulator where you win in the first half of the game and have to tediously clean up everything in the second half. Uncharted Sectors is, in fact, the opposite: it is centered around playing "tall". You’ll have every opportunity to lovingly craft and deeply understand your worlds, society, and economy. Your actions will determine your goals and victory conditions.

Each run takes place in a different procedural sector covering thousands of parsecs with its own generated history. It is full of realistic star systems, inscrutable aliens, and endless perils. The only constant is the rotting, galaxy-spanning Empire of Humanity... right on your doorstep.
