About This Game

Unserious Sandbox is a single-player parkour game. No management, no combat—just the player's movement, traversing abstract worlds.

Traversal Gameplay

The game features two traversal modes: Parkour and Traverse.

Parkour requires a more precise movement/camera control in a strafing stance—the player needs to look towards where they go. Traverse is a more dynamic stance with no strafing and enabling wall run, can be slightly more challenging with a faster pace.

The modes are different, but the goal is the same: set your own record then beat it.

Momentum

Traversal animations are picked dynamically based on your movement trajectory upon traversal attempt using Unreal Engine’s motion-matching, and the core of traversal is pace and timing - build momentum and stay in flow.
