Internet Friend:

Someone Gabe met anonymously online but has built trust with over the years, known only by the alias "ByteRider."

Together, they are working on a game project focusing on mental connection technology. However, some features remain unexplored as the project is still untested.

Gabe and ByteRider have developed a prototype device (a headgear capable of transmitting electronic brainwave signals) that enables players to connect to the game. This system allows players to control in-game characters solely through mental focus, without the need for physical controllers.

While Gabe is at school, ByteRider continues working on the project. When Gabe gets back from school, he checks the progress and becomes aware of the work that has been done. However, sometimes he forgets to check, and as a result, he learns about the challenges awaiting him later on.
