Kugiribito -The DiVider- is a first-person horror adventure game set in Japan during the 1980s.

By collecting various documents and clues, they will gradually uncover the terrifying truth hidden within the village.

To escape the fatigue of work, the protagonist sets out on a weekend drive.

However, while driving along a mountain road, their car suddenly stops, leading them to a strange, secluded village.

As they look around, a memory resurfaces—an article about an unsolved case.

"The victims of the unsolved case all uttered the same words with their final breaths 'I met the Kugiribito...'"
