As the war nears its end, Dr. Isabella is sent away from the frontlines under the protection of her family to an underground sanatorium meant to shelter important individuals.

Disconnected from the frontlines and overwhelmed by despair, she unexpectedly reunites with a girl she had met once before.

The blind girl, wandering alone in this desolate place, is physically unharmed but suffers from severe memory loss, remembering only the doctor’s name.

A doctor who has witnessed countless deaths and a child who has miraculously survived now rely on each other, living together in quiet harmony. Alongside two other familiar companions, they spend their days reading, exploring the new environment, listening to music and the sounds of nature, and occasionally sharing stories of the past, offerings to the slumbering Creator of the Earth.
