Varför Early Access?

“Early Access is perfect for Hell Maiden's development as it allows us to gather players' feedback, insights and suggestions while developing the game. This will help us refine its gameplay and features, as well as align our vision for the game with the community's needs in mind.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“Approximately an additional year, or more. While it is difficult to predict at this point in time, we will keep updating the community on Steam and other platforms about Hell Maiden's development.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“For the full version of Hell Maiden, we plan on including all 9 Circles of Hell, more Poets of Limbo to rescue and befriend, more weapons, perks, cards and ultimate attacks to collect and a continuation of the storyline which comes with more Boss challenges to overcome, lore to uncover and side quests to complete. Additionally, the full version release is envisioned to include all the improvements, polishing and quality of life adjustments made to features and gameplay during Early Access, as well as an Endless Mode for those who want to test their limits.”

“Currently, Hell Maiden features 2 Circles of Hell, each with their unique Bosses to defeat, 4 Poets of Limbo to find and rescue, 4 signature weapons to choose from and 40+ abilities to collect. The overarching narrative is also introduced and further developed in the Early Access version.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Yes, Hell Maiden will see a price increase upon the release of its full version.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We plan on keeping the community updated via regular posts on Steam detailing development progress as well as detailed updates on content patches and hotfixes so players can know exactly what to look forward to with every update. Players are also welcome to leave reviews, discuss the game on Steam forums and join AstralShift's Discord server where they can report bugs and seek support directly from the developers.”

Hell Maiden is an action Horde Survival Deck-Building game inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy.

Follow Dante on a new adventure through Hell in search of a second chance at salvation.

Harness great power by strategically building and organizing your deck of unique weapons and abilities, and prove your divine worth by facing off against hordes of blood-thirsty demons and climbing your way to Heaven!

Overcome the challenges of the afterlife and wreak havoc in all 9 Circles of Hell by creating unique deck builds and wielding mythical weapons to tackle endless waves of enemies and defeat Hell’s toughest fiends.

Better yet, you get to keep and use your opponents' signature abilities in your own deck!

Pick your favorite Spirit Cards and combine them with a myriad of different abilities, bonuses and status effects to create powerful builds and decimate your opponents.

Equip Mod Cards to enhance and modify your Weapon Cards — edit, experiment, adapt, and reformulate your hand and card combinations as you go and refine your personal playstyle!

Accompanied by the Roman poet Virgil and protected by the sanctified Beatrice, you must rescue and befriend the Poets of Limbo to unlock new abilities and perks, ultimate attacks and signature weapons!

Meet all the legendary poets of antiquity including but not limited to Homer, Ovid, Horace and Lucan, and help them find their own way to salvation.

Hell Maiden picks up from the ending of the original Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri.

Dante is now inexplicably back in Hell after having reached Paradiso — and she's lost all her memories to boot! Unable to remember anything about her past life or her first journey through Hell, Dante is determined to climb her way back to Heaven and once again come face to face with Paradiso's higher powers in search for answers. 

A compelling story about passion, justice and love, Hell Maiden is more than a reimagining of the classic poem — it is the exciting continuation of its events!
