Arcane Legion is a free single-player fantasy auto-battler that puts large-scale army combat at the heart of a replayable campaign. Lead the Human Alliance against the Monster Horde, build your army between battles, and choose when and where to unleash your commander's spells.

Your soldiers fight automatically. Your decisions shape the army they fight with.

Recruit. Inspect. Unleash.

Spend earned gold on recruits, balance your command budget, and collect three matching copies to promote a unit. Inspect your automatically deployed formations in a real 3D preview before committing to battle. Move freely around the battlefield, then begin the fight from the viewpoint you chose.

Change the battle with a well-placed spell

Each commander brings a fixed set of four spells selected from an eleven-spell collection. Use 1, 2, 3 and 4 to select a spell, aim with its ground indicator, and click to cast. Protect allies with wards, slow or stun enemy formations, inflict burning damage, deliver heavy impacts, or cleanse harmful effects. Mana, charges and recharge times make timing matter.

Build your next campaign

Fight through 35 elimination waves, choose rewards after victories, and unlock additional troops and commanders through the permanent Arcane Legacy progression system. Recruitment choices, commander loadouts and reward combinations give you different ways to approach the next run.

Arcane Legion is free to download and play. Recruitment, rerolls and progression use resources earned through gameplay, not real-money purchases.

Created by MrLiuYX with Mass Battle Framework, the game is also a playable showcase of the framework's large-scale combat, animation and effects. You do not need to own the framework to play. This Steam download contains the playable game, not the separately available development toolkit or its source code.

Ongoing updates are planned to improve the game, refine balance and presentation, and demonstrate further framework improvements. Specific additions and release dates will be announced when ready.

Please note: This is a single-player army-building game, not a manual unit-control RTS or a multiplayer battle sandbox. Formations deploy automatically. Battle scale and performance depend on your hardware and the current army composition.
