Nyric is a third-person survivalcraft where every session begins with a simple prompt—and ends with a dream you and your friends will never forget. Type a phrase to generate an entire chain of worlds and then explore it, survive its hazards, discover AI companions, and make tough choices about who you take with you … and who you leave behind.

From lava-choked ruins to crystal fields or just beautiful Mediterranean landscapes, Nyric creates fully-playable, unique realms from players answering one single question:

Each Nyric session is a chain of dream realms shaped by your own words. Your goal is to survive long enough to keep moving forward—and wake up with a story worth telling.

• Prompt: Start by entering a prompt. From that, Nyric will build a custom realm with its own hazards, climate, areas to discover, and unique Faebot companions.

• Survive: Manage extreme weather, navigate alien terrain, and deploy your Faebots’ abilities to overcome threats.

• Discover: Explore and find secret areas of your realm—graveyards, ruins, trash heaps, radioactive pits—and locate special Faebots hidden within.

• Thrive: Build a base and establish a safe haven. Power your base with your companions. Open the portal to the next dream… and decide who you leave behind.

Faebots: Companions with Personality and Power

In each world, you’ll discover AI companions called Faebots—strange, emotional machines that react to how you treat them. Equip Faebots to gain powerful abilities to survive your realms. Keep them happy and they’ll work tirelessly for you. Make them sad and you may find your own companions turning on you.

But to open the portal to the next realm, some Faebots must stay behind to work your base and power the portal. The choice of who you keep, who you leave, and why shapes your dream and your ability to survive the next realm.

Build to Survive, Not Just Decorate

Establish a base in each world to counter realm-specific hazards. Your build choices are strategic—protection from cold, shelter from storms, or safe zones near exit portals.

Explore Nyric to find rare Faebots and discover anything from ruins and graveyards to high-risk, high-reward areas of tornado fields and lava pits.Follow the lure of the unknown on your compass and see what you can discover to help, or hinder, your dream.

Every Run Tells a Story—Literally

At the end of every session, your narrator recaps your dream as a lucid slideshow of your actions, choices, and companions. Whether you made it a dozen realms deep or woke up too soon, your journey becomes a shareable memory.

What Makes Nyric Different?

Nyric uses AI to offer a game experience that hasn’t been possible before. Unlike other survivalcraft games with static maps or linear loops, Nyric offers an endlessly replayable structure built on player intent, not developer presets. With every run, you define the content, the difficulty, and the mood of what comes next.

Lovelace Studio is committed to using AI ethically. Our primary uses of AI are to parse a player’s prompt into world metadata and to assess a Faebot’s reaction to a player’s actions. AI is not used to generate 3D assets, textures, materials, or audio in Nyric.

An API breaks down text inputs into a pipeline of world attributes in order to generate biomes from a pre-loaded cache of assets at runtime. World themes, weather, time periods, hostility, and unique asset names are generated at runtime for novel worldbuilding. AI companion moods, reactions, and personalities are generated at runtime using API responses.
