Why Early Access?

“Echo Extract is a large extraction looter with multiple quest lines. This genre is quite new and will need a lot of balancing to be able to hit the right balance of fun and challenging. Early Access will allow me to take in the feedback of the player base while expanding on the game. I plan to support this game for a long time, with adding new content and features, and Early Access is the best way to deliver that content!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I anticipate I’ll be in Early Access for about a two years, but this can change depending on the community’s response and feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to make the full version an expansion of Early Access. This may include new zones, new weapon types, new loot, and new upgrades for your base! I plan to provide a conclusion to all the available quest lines, which will allow you to save each zone from the neon gangs. I also plan to incorporate of all the feedback from the community to bring the best version of Echo Extract possible!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“I am planning to launch Early Access with three zones: Nexus-8, Vice Beach, and The GRID. Each zone has its own enemy types, unique armor and loot, and quest lines. The full game loop of fighting, looting, extracting, and base building is planned to be available at launch!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, Echo Extract is launching at a lower price during Early Access as a thank you to the community for participating and providing feedback. The price may increase upon the release of the full version to reflect the additional content and improvements.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Join the Discord! You can easily jump into the Discord community to chat directly with the me, share your feedback, and discuss your experiences with other players. This is your chance to influence the game's direction by reporting bugs, suggesting improvements, and participating in community polls. I'll be making updates based on what your experiences.”

About This Game

Giant Mechs called Mavericks have gone haywire.  They roam the synth-lands attacking anyone who comes near.  Use your sweet moves to bring them down!

Take parts from the defeated Mavericks to craft RAD armor.  These crafted armor all come with unique abilities.  Cast lightning on critical strikes, shoot a laser out of your chest, deal explosive damage on combo finishers.  All of this while looking stylish!

Build stacks of lethality with the dagger to teleport.  The aegis shield can be ricocheted between groups of enemies.  The hammer gains super armor and brings the pain.  As an Echo you need to master you weapon to take out the neon gangs who rule these rad lands.

Every Echo needs a RAD PAD! Loot all that you can from a raid and bring it back to your hideout to build your base. Your base will unlock new weapons and armor options!
