Miksi Early Access?

I would not consider this a full game at this time as there are still ideas I want to implement. I would like your feedback to help me improve the game and fix bugs when needed, and this would also help me to figure out how to implement said ideas. That being said, the current state of the game is indeed playable.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

I will not make any promises, but the way I see it, it could be complete between four to six months.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

Hopefully the story will be complete. I want to redo some of the voice lines, and there may be other people involved with rerecording voice lines too. Other than that, there may be new enemy skins that you can unlock, plus more ships, weapons, etc. Even after the story is finished, I may have future plans for Galaxy Hassle.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Currently there is the campaign with six difficulties along with the unlockable freeplay mode, mini missions mode, and endless mode. There are also four unlockable characters for the freeplay, mini missions, and endless modes along with some other goodies to discover.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

I intend to raise the price at full release.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

I will mostly look at my Discord server for feedback. I could see the game going in any direction right now, but I would like to see what changes could be made to make this the best product that I can possibly deliver for the small game that it is, and the community can be involved by giving said feedback.

Galaxy Hassle is a story-rich fixed shooter that lets you play as Corelatine Rangers Ralph and Brad, and they need your help to apprehend Dr. Jillkoy, an evil scientist whose goal is to evolve all species to their "ultimate potential," whatever that means.

Face against the many monstrous creations in Jillkoy's army. They will do whatever it takes to keep you away from their master. What they don't take into account are the many weapons in your arsenal...

The guns of the game!

Stock - This is your default weapon. It's good for picking off small amounts of enemies, and you don't run out of ammo! However, you may want to use something with more firepower when those creatures inevitably flood your screen.

Shotgun - This gun shoots 5 bullets in a spread. While slower, it does a good job clearing out asteroids and other enemies close to you when you badly need some personal space.

Spread Shotgun - Much like the Shotgun, except now it shoots 9 bullets with an even wider spread!

Seekers - This gun will shoot bullets that seek the closest enemy (including asteroids!). It's excellent for effortless, long-range firing.

Note: All of the guns except for Stock require ammo. You can switch to any of these weapons at any time so long as you have the ammo for them!

Co-op

Have a friend/brother/sister/dad/mom/dog/parrot/grimtern/jug of milk that wants to play? Great! Player two can use the arrow keys on the keyboard and play with you in any game mode! Have a controller or two? You can use those too!

Controls

Controls are really simple for this game! You can do it one-handed!

On keyboard it's as follows:

Player 1 - WASD and Space to shoot, fire, and change weapons.

Player 2 - Arrow keys and left Ctrl to shoot, fire, and change weapons.

There are also 7 secrets to be found in the game, and maybe more for you to discover in future updates! Can you find them all?
