'The game has 10 planned Chapters, and not all of them have been completed yet.

I'm releasing in early access to receive player feedback and support development.'

'Tides of Succession will be in early access until it's complete. Visual Novel development is quite time consuming and there can be a number of unforeseen setbacks which make it very difficult to predict exactly when it will be finished.

Based of the current development pace, I would estimate end of 2027.'

'All comments and reviews will be read by me. I take feedback very seriously and it's an important part of my development process as I wish to produce one of the greatest AVNs out there. Furthermore, I'm willing to chat with any user regarding theories, feedback or my development process. I am very active on my official Discord server and will be able to respond to any concerns, questions or feedback quite quickly. I also release weekly development logs regarding the current process of development, informing users of what's happening and where the current progress is at.

Feedback will primarily be used to improve the pacing of the plot but will also be used to improve the dialogue and visuals in-game.'

Over dit spel

Tides of Succession is first and foremost a heart-warming romantic, slow-burn AVN. It also an intriguing setting, and has a strong narrative which you can influence through your choices.

Synopsis:

King Lovell's grip on the throne is growing weaker every passing day. His Lords are growing rebellious, and a succession ploy is expected any day. Alas, when the infamous Spice Pirate secures a Lordship through marriage, he offers his allegiance to the King. The one catch being the cunning, beautiful Princess Lorelei Lovell has to wed his appointed heir, who just happens to be you. Alas, not is all what it seems....

Branching:

Tides of Succession takes a rather severe approach to branching. Not only can you choose which Love Interest you want to pursue, you can choose who you trust, and who you want to form an allegiance with. This means your choices won't just influence the romance, but also the direction of the story.

There will be a total of 10 endings, 3 different endings for each Love Interest (there are 3 LIs), as well as a solo ending for those who desire to do so.

Love Interests:

The 3 LIs are:

  • Lorelei - The Princess and next in-line to the throne.

  • Kasula - An explorer from an enigmatic new race.

  • Glade - A dangerous, skilled pirate.
