“We think it serves the game well to be exposed to a larger playerbase early on. This way, we have a chance of spotting flaws and improving the game early on together with the playerbase.
Even if it means getting some "passionate" feedback from time to time. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We believe we will be in EA around 6 to 12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the roster with additional rebel champions to boost replayability and deepen champion composition and build strategy options.

We also aim to introduce more Biomes in future updates, bringing fresh environments, enemies, and gameplay challenges to explore.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game has all core loops in place. We like to think it is fun, dynamic and has a high replay-value.
Content-wise we are currently offering:
* 4 playable champions each offering a unique play-style
* 1 biome with 15 levels
* 9 enemy types (comes in multiple variants)
* 2 mini-bosses
* 2 biome-bosses
* 200+ perks across 8 different character classes
* a plethora of items and upgrades”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will see a price raise once we are ready for a full release. During EA we plan for a fixed pricing.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are already listen carefully to player feedback and suggestions on our Discord.
We plan to keep doing this all the way to 1.0 Release and beyond.”

About This Game

Raiders of Blackveil is a top-down pulse pounding roguelite that is all about mastering champions, combining synergistic perks and acquiring powerful loot. Take on the challenge alone or in a team of up to 3 players. Creating the best team-synergy is vital to success. 


Raiders of Blackveil is set in a dystopian industrial fantasy world where animals are oppressed by a human mega corporation called Blackveil. You will join the animal rebellion as they aim to thwart Blackveil’s attempt at enslaving nature and enforcing a mindless consumer society.



CHOOSE YOUR CHAMPION

Select from a range of MOBA-inspired champions, each with unique abilities, playstyles, and personalities. Pick your role as a Tank, Damage Dealer, or Support. Gather your best mates, join the rebellion, and form the ultimate team to fight against Blackveil.

MASTER THE DRAFT

Draft a unique build from over 300 perks across 8 classic fantasy classes, each with unique effects and mechanics Choose between Mage, Assassin, Priest, Guardian, Monk, Druid, Warrior, and Warlock. Unlock class synergies through Duo Perks for outrageously satisfying combos.

HUNT FOR LOOT

Hunt and collect rare and powerful items. Precious currencies, equipment, trinkets and gadgets, all to fuel the efforts of the rebellion. Unique legendries and mythic items with special effects, your loadout determines your effectiveness in battle!
