Miksi Early Access?

Pixel Pirates is a small action adventure game developed by our three-person team at Flickin Fun. Early Access gives us the opportunity to involve players directly in shaping the game as we continue to refine and expand it. Your feedback is invaluable as we balance combat, exploration, rewards, and mechanics for the best experience we can deliver.

By joining us in Early Access, you'll not only get to go on part of your adventure early, but also play a vital role in shaping how all the parts come together.

We anticipate Pixel Pirates will be in Early Access until early 2026. This timeline allows us to incorporate player feedback to shape future content and the player experience. However, we’re committed to quality and will take the time needed to get it right.

The full version of Pixel Pirates is planned to include expanded content, such as additional islands to explore, more enemy types, new quests, and a completed narrative.

While the Early Access version provides the core experience, we plan to bring more narrative-driven elements to the world, and greater variety and polish to your adventure.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version of Pixel Pirates offers the core gameplay experience, including land and sea combat, exploration, interactive characters, puzzles, and treasure hunting.

While fully playable and enjoyable, the game is still in early development, with limited content, enemy variety, and systems and mechanics not yet fully realized. We're actively polishing the experience and look forward to refining the game further with player feedback.

Saves MAY BREAK in future updates and could require starting over.

Xbox and PlayStation controllers are natively supported, but if you have issues with your controller connecting, please enable Steam Input in your Steam controller settings.

Please note that a controller is currently required to play, and input remapping is not officially supported at this time. Due to the complexity of building such a system, we do not plan to add any remapping features until the game is ready for release.

We plan to offer Pixel Pirates at a lower price during Early Access as a thank-you to early supporters. Once the game officially launches, we intend to raise the price to reflect the full scope of the experience, with expanded content and additional features.
