Why Early Access?

“Surge Point is a gameplay-first experience built around fast movement, creative traversal, and deep weapon customization. We want to involve the community early to gather feedback on core systems like modular gun building, mission design, movement mechanics, and enemy difficulty. Early Access allows us to shape the game based on real player feedback and prioritize features that matter most to the community.”

“We expect Surge Point to remain in Early Access for approximately 12–18 months, but this timeline may shift based on community feedback and development progress.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the current experience over time with more content, deeper gameplay, and additional polish. Some of the ideas we're currently exploring include:

  • More enemy types and advanced AI behavior
  • Additional weapon parts and experimental modifiers
  • New map tiles, visual themes, and environmental interactions
  • Mini-bosses and wave-based challenges
  • More handcrafted missions with unique objectives

Surge Point is a fast-paced, single-player FPS roguelike with deep weapon customization and high-mobility combat. Inspired by classics like DOOM and Quake, it drops you into a simulated arena full of deadly robotic enemies. Build your own weapon, master the movement system, and survive wave after wave — or fight through hand-crafted levels in mission mode.

There are no pre-made guns — just you and your gun parts. Find components during your run and snap them together to build your perfect weapon:
