„Until June 2026 at least, but as long as needed to complete the base game.

Even if the game never takes off, we want to make sure it's bug free, performant on low-end hardware, and provides players with the tools to create, find, and share all the content they imagine, forever.“

„The full version will look similar, but better.

We want to greatly improve the Track Editor and Community Hub, create more official content, improve performance across all hardware, improve the controller UI experience and, eventually... add ranked matchmaking.

V jaké fázi vývoje se hra nachází?

„Here's what you'll find:
- the first Trial (the Tower)
- 8 tracks from the official Circuit
- Fully-featured Track Editor
- The Hub, containing over 100 community-created tracks
- Some multiplayer features, such as ghosts and global leaderboards

We are still finding and fixing bugs, and the game doesn't run as well as it should on low-end hardware. We post regular updates in Discord, including patch notes and forward-looking discussion.“

Změní se cena hry po skončení předběžného přístupu?

„Ballest benefits immensely from community-created content. We want to make that easy, so we plan to take Ballest free-to-play after EA.

Because we want dedicated servers for smooth online play, some multiplayer features will be gated by a subscription that supports those servers.“
