Help x'Ar The Explorer, the lizard explorer find his place in the universe in this action-packed rhythm-based top-down space adventure derby! 

• Be an explorer wannabe in a hostile space!

• Discover an ancient Jumpgate and find a way to reactivate it!

• Intuitive rhythm-based combat

• Enemies have unique weapons and combat patterns

Space is a nasty place. Full of vicious outlaws, terrorists who want nothing more than to destroy the Lekrad regime and everyone in it! Engage in rhythm-based combat, and leverage incoming energy by parrying and riposting in beat with the music!

• 1 main quest

• 3 optional side quests

• 50 Meaningful, fulfilling conversations

• 10 000 words of dialogue (out of which 81 is swearing)

When you're not busy fighting for your life, why not talk with several charming (and charmless) lizards inhabiting the Lekrad Orbital Platform and the nearby space to find out what they need and learn about your job, the sector, and yourself?

• Gain experience through fighting and exploring

• Skill tree with 8 upgrades, each with a unique cut-scene*

• Repair your ship

Oh no! Are the enemies coming in greater numbers and stronger? Adapt! Upgrade your spaceship's speed, agility, and damage, and unlock unique abilities (like impact-assisted asteroid redirection).

*cut-scenes may be skipped but it'll make the lizard sad :c (unless you're in a hurry)

• Fly around and scan objects to gain experience and information

• Scan the sector to find Points of Interest

• Scan the planet to map it and find anomalies

A small part of the entire universe is in your hands! Your ship is equipped with several scanners, which let you gain information about objects around you, as well as scan the sector to discover Points of Interest, which hold, well, interesting things.

Beware though! Sending out signals might attract some unwanted attention.

This game, music, and most other assets were made by webik150. Zero Impact was created as my diploma project at the Department of Game Design at FAMU to experiment with intuitive rhythm gameplay.
