Wozu Early Access?

„Early Access gives me a chance to get the game into more players' hands, widen my feedback area, and improve Careening to make it the best that it can be.“

Wie lange wird dieses Spiel ungefähr den Early Access-Status haben?

„Early Access is planned to be relatively brisk (in the grand scheme of things), so I'm looking at about six months to a year, though I think it's best to remain flexible.“

Wie soll sich die Vollversion von der Early Access-Version unterscheiden?

„For the full version I intend for the map to be about twice as large, two-three times as many buffs, and twice as many weapons. On top of that are obvious features that are currently missing like writing in any form, music, and a more polished tutorial and onboarding experience.“

Was ist der derzeitige Stand der Early Access-Version?

„The Early Access version is playable for about 4-12 hours (depending on how completionist you wish to be), though does not feature a true "end" state to play. It features 20 weapons, over 90 buffs, and 70 internal achievements to power yourself up across two game modes in a small open world.

The game is still to be expanded with more areas, weapons and buffs, and it currently has some placeholder UI elements, and is missing some audio elements (sound effects and music).“

„I expect the price to increase slightly when Early Access ends, to help reward those who purchase early, though the price change will not be great.“

„Community Feedback is important for balance, and to help find the fun where I might have breezed past it in design, and while there's a slim number of features that are locked in stone, I am very open to change things based on critique.“

Infos zum Spiel

It is the near future of 2019, and you're trapped in a dome with 18,736 mad robots on the outskirts of a Las Vegas themed resort, and with only twenty minutes until a bomb wipes everything out. Race across a small open world, activate powerful buffs, and grow strong enough to survive the next danger, and maybe even escape (Ed. Escape is not possible at this point in time).

Explore the world.

Discover Fountains to activate Buffs, Pylons to boost your character, and more
Race to locations to gain experience
Complete Time-Trials to increase the experience you earn

Explode the rustbuckets that have turned their attention to you.

Utilise a variety of unique weapons to Wreck those Wrobots
Deal Damage to destroy their puny frames
Inflict Stun to weaken them, then ram into them to heal yourself
Utilise Buffs to empower yourself and shape your run

Expire, and then try it all again.

Unlock Achievements to unlock new Weapons, Buffs, and improve your car's stats

Discovered world features are added to your map permanently, letting you optimise your path through the world
