Armada Pet Wars (APW) is a 4X-lite asynchronous turn based space-themed strategy game... with pets.

APW is designed for up to 8 (human or AI) players to play multiplayer games over several weeks asynchronously, or Challenge the AI players directly for direct-ongoing play.

Mechanics include :

  • A randomized Technology Tree that keeps each game fresh, requiring players to adjust and design strategies based on what technology they start with.

  • Starship design on numerous (29) ship hull types of various sizes and complexity, requiring players to design Starships with various components and weapon layouts. Starship designs will determine how they will interact in battle, allowing for large and tactical auto-battle outcomes.

  • Simplified, but strategic Grand Strategy, which includes a Galactic Resource Market, anonymous player communication, and diplomacy.
