Gordak is an exploration, survival and building game where you are shipwrecked on an unknown procedurally generated island and have to settle your own village and grow your tribe through gathering resources as well as finding and recruiting other survivors. You must protect your village at all costs while also heading out into the wild to slay the undead lords of Gordak, an orc god who has plagued the island with an undead curse.

EXPLORE THE ISLAND

Explore the island and its distinct biomes for enemies to slay and to gather resources to build and upgrade your village. Be cautious, as some biomes might be hard to navigate unprepared.

FIGHT AND SURVIVE

Slay everything in your way to becoming the strongest war chief the island has ever known. There are various melee options available as well as using a bows or magical staffs with unique abilities.

DAY/NIGHT AND WEATHER SYSTEM

Hunt for food, gather resources and upgrade your village during the hours of the day. The night brings new challenges and creatures that makes navigating the island all the more difficult. Some weather events such as rain and mist could lead to nighttime challenges creeping into daylight hours. 

GATHER RESOURCES

Chop wood with your trusty axe and mine stone and other ores with your hammer, although some minerals will require stronger weapons. Climbing the surrounding mountains will lead you to find better resources as well as the mysterious traveling merchant.

BUILD AND UPGRADE YOUR VILLAGE

After settling your village, the undead will be drawn to the sent of new life. Make sure to set up a strong perimeter around your village. Build defensive towers, garrisons, walls and more to assure the safety of the tribe. Acquire villagers and warriors to aid you in gathering resources and fighting the undead.

KEY FEATURES:

• Procedurally-generated island of different sizes. Biomes are immersive and distinct, with a focus on their own abundance or lack of resources and enemy types.

• Single player experience which can be replayed unlimited times, giving a new experience every time. 

• Base building system where you construct your village around the central village center. A large rage of resource, defensive and other unique structures are available to grow the strength of your tribe.

• Satisfying progression system. Every time one of the 4 undead lords are slain the player as well as the tribe becomes more powerful, while the island becomes more hostile and difficult to navigate as well as resources becoming increasingly scarce. 

• Crafting system allowing the player to craft basic equipment from his inventory, advanced equipment from the forge as well as unique equipment using the essence of fallen undead lords at the tribe's alter of Gordak.

• Absorbing essence from fallen undead enemies can be used to purchase items, craft unique equipment and construct crucial structures for the village.

• Challenging and unique boss fights that will test not just your level of equipment, but your skill as well.

• Day/Night system coupled with weather events. Daytime is easier to navigate than nighttime since it comes with new dangerous creatures roaming around, although some valuable resources will only appear at night.
