Face the Elder’s Trials

Seasons of Solitude is a turn-based survival strategy set in a hand-painted prehistoric world inspired by Estonian nature and myth. You are in exile. Each trial demands foresight: read the land, endure its wildlife, and keep the ecosystem in fragile balance as shifting seasons reshape every move.

Scout the Unknown: Every trial begins in uncertainty. Reveal the land tile by tile, uncovering resources you need and hazards that threaten to cut you off. The sooner you know the shape of the world, the better you can survive it.

Gather With Purpose: Food, water, and materials are never guaranteed. The ecosystem shifts between phases, yields weaken, and seasons rewrite the rules of survival. Every harvest is temporary - take what you can while the opportunity lasts, and weigh each step against hunger, thirst, and time.

Secure Your Gains: What you carry is fragile. Animals and hazards contest every resource, yet you need them not only to survive but also to unlock tools that open new ways forward. Each gain you hold strengthens your actions and pushes you closer to survival.

Adapt and Evolve: No trial stands still. The ecosystem declines, the seasons rewrite survival rules, and sudden events twist the land against you. Yields shrink, hazards spread, and strategies that once worked soon fall apart. Survival depends on how well you adapt - finding new ways forward with the tools at hand, as the Elder reshapes the world.
