"The Ardron Universe is a multi-game project set within one connected universe. Early Access allows players to experience completed entries while other planned titles continue development. This approach lets players engage with finished content now, instead of waiting years for every project to be released together."

Por quanto tempo aproximadamente este jogo estará em acesso antecipado?

"There are many interconnected games planned. I expect the Ardron Universe to remain in Early Access for roughly 5–10 years as each major title and system is developed and refined."

Como a versão completa será diferente da versão de acesso antecipado?

"Early Access represents the foundation of the Ardron Universe. The initial release focuses on one game, but future updates aim to expand the universe with new connected titles, systems, and cross-game features. As development continues, each entry will add to the shared lore, mechanics, and worldbuilding that define Ardron. The full version is expected to feel like a complete, interconnected universe rather than a single standalone game."

Qual é o estado atual da versão de acesso antecipado?

"The current version features the complete player-side experience of the Ashes of Arcanum tabletop RPG, including character creation, combat, leveling, and item systems. It’s fully playable and supports full campaigns run manually by a Game Master. Future updates will expand the GM tools, add tutorials, and introduce adventure modules and additional games within the Ardron Universe."

O preço do jogo será alterado após o fim do acesso antecipado?

"I plan to keep the price the same after leaving Early Access. The goal is for one purchase to grant access to all future updates and expansions as the Ardron Universe continues to grow."

Como vocês planejam envolver a comunidade durante o processo de desenvolvimento?

"The community will be directly involved through our Discord server and Steam discussions. I’ll use player feedback to adjust balance, improve the games, and shape how the next phases of the Ardron Universe develop. Players who run campaigns or create content can share it in Discord, and I’ll spotlight community-made adventures or modules that fit well with the system."

Sobre este jogo

I know I'm supposed to pitch the game here, but I ain't doing that yet.

I'm here to tell you that I'm not super "professional." There will be jokes, but I treat the universe seriously. So I hope you enjoy the world and the read.

If you don't like reading, you're gonna have a bad time.

There is a lot of reading in some of these games, and I personally don't know when to shut up.

These aren’t quick dopamine hits.

They’re slow burns,  games that respect your time, but expect your patience.

They don’t hold your hand, and they sure as hell don’t chase your attention span.

If that scares you, that’s fine. Go scroll TikTok.

If you want AAA "quality", "standards", and "professionalism"? The gutter is over there.

Watch your step.

That being said... time for a little seriousness. Because this game demands respect.
Not from you, but from me.

Here is a super ... SUPER summarized lore blerb.

First and foremost, Ardron is a universe.
In any of these games, you’ll be playing in that universe (duh).

The quickest way I can explain the lore goes like this:

---

At first, there was nothing... and then there was something. (Real original, huh?)

The specifics are muddy.
Six individuals coasted across the nothing(the void) until they encountered a figure of unimaginable power.
This figure, (bored, I guess,) decided to give each of them a color, each representing a piece of the six types of Mana it possessed. This removed the figure from existence living through the 6 creatures themselves.

The six individuals became gods, not as powerful as the figure, but still, gods.

With this power, they created their own universes, all interconnected, and started crafting creatures and places in their universes.

One thing led to another. (God, that's lazy writing)

There became a conflict which...

 Well you'll see.

This used to be longer, said more... but I've cut it short due to the way I want the game to tell you.

Or if you care you can read about it in the Extras section in game 🤷.

Even is The Ardron Universe? And Why Should You Care?

Basically, it’s Final Fantasy written by Tolkien right after he found out Cthulhu actually exists.... that's the best way i can summarize it.

Because Ardron doesn't treat you like a chosen hero, or an idiot.
It treats you like a person with respect, and still dares you to carve out meaning anyway.

If you want a power fantasy? This isn't it.

There’s no clear good or evil,
only choices, and the weight they carry.
Every action has context. Every consequence lingers. Every benefit prospers.

In Ardron,  just because you’re the hero in one story, doesn't mean you aren't the villain in another.
But you still have the right to celebrate.

Because survival...your survival, is still something worth honoring, and that's all were trying to do.... Is survive.

In real life... Or in Ardron.

In these games you will live through stories, or experience someone else's, and sooner or later... You'll understand.

All I'm giving you is a key. It's up to you to walk through the door.

Games take time, I'm a solo dev, until I can hire others.

If you REALLY want to play it early? Check out our ko-fi for early access. (which I can't link here)

So, what’s in it?

[Ashes of Arcanum Remastered] - 90%

A TTRPG that feels familiar, and then doesn’t.

If D&D is Microsoft Windows and G.U.R.P.S. is Arch Linux...

Ashes of Arcanum sits comfortably in the middle, call it the Linux Mint/Ubuntu of tabletop RPGs.
You're sick of Windows, Arch is too complicated, and you just want something to work? AoA is your game.

It’s a home away from home: familiar mechanics, but twisted into something new.

Mostly narrative-driven, with light RP rules (because heavy RP rules are lame), but packed with a crunchy combat system for those who love to dig deep.

Best of both worlds. If that made no sense: think Mario Bros 1 --> Mario Bros 2. Same... but definitely not the same.

[Arcane Titans] - 15%

A Card Game that hates you.

Alright, imagine if you took Magic The Gathering, Hearthstone, and Yugioh!,  threw 'em into a blender and pressed the button...

Good job, you left the top off, dumbass.
Anyway... now throw in some Ashes of Arcanum madness.

That’s Arcane Titans.

It’s your typical card game... until it isn’t.
You’ve got three decks at the same time:

  • Your Spell Deck - all your spells, summons, and chaos.

  • Your Mana Deck - no RNG mana flood or drought here.

  • Your Sanity Deck - home to the strongest cards in the game...but it is worth your sanity?

Like every TCG, first one to 0 HP loses.
But how you get there? That’s the fun part.

This isn’t some MTG match that ends in three turns or drags for 400 because you drew no mana.
Every turn, you’re doing something. None of that “I pass” nonsense.

If Ashes of Arcanum is the TTRPG of player choice,
then Arcane Titans is the TCG of player choice.

Of course... the hardest choice? What to put in your deck.

[Graces Lament] - 0%

A 2D action RPG about debts, choices, and consequences, disguised as a cute adventure.

You’re just trying to figure out what happened to your dad at the start of the 10k War.
Simple goal, right? …until a few bad breaks later, you owe some Guild your life.

Now you take jobs. “Help” some towns. “Fix” some problems.
What help means? That’s on you.

Every quest is a choice.
Every choice has weight.
And somewhere between the sunshine and the smiling faces, you start realizing how much....or not.
This is Grace’s Lament.

[Echos Of Aria] - 0%

A music/rhythm game where you can't lose... except your sanity.

this game is the epitome of carpel tunnel speed run any%

You use both hands to play your instrument on your keyboard, yes your PC keyboard. You use the whole thing... kinda.

You cannot fail a song, you're only judged on how well you do.

Meanwhile you're going through a particular adventurers backstory... learning how he got there and where he came from.

[DISCLAIMER]: It's recommended you have a good gaming keyboard, or one with good anti-ghosting to play this.

[Rimalts Recollection] - 0%

Another 2d side scroller action RPG game... but.

[REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED]

[REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED]

[REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED]

...[REDACTED]

[Ashbound Chronicles] - 0%

A classic tactical RPG born from corruption and consequence.

One of the Gods most powerful generals was felled at the start of the war...the corruption spread through the land, and it chose you, and your best friend.

These two unlikely souls crawled out of the pit... due to their overwhelming resistance. They had free will from the gods influence.

They decided with this new found power and freedom, it would be them who ends this silly war.

Ashbound chronicles is like the old RPG's... Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior, Fire Emblem, or Earthbound for example.

But unlike those games, There is no EXP, there are no Levels...you are left to your own devices and power. Which will be especially odd due to the weird battle system.

But I hope you find what you are looking for at the end of the journey.

[Daemon Protocol] - 86%

A simple "Minigame" for a mini realm.

Daemon Protocol is a battling system, set forth in... Discord actually.

You know how people tell you not to make an MMO? I did it anyways...technically.

Discord hosts it. In short. It's a turn based battling RPG, using reactions.

It is very party synergistic, every person playing helps those in battle by empowering the mainframe.

Think of like Dragon Ball Z. Everyone not fighting Buu is giving Goku their energy for a spirit bomb.

Except its a full 4 size party. unless its a boss fight. Which is a minimum of 8, and has no high cap.

Destroying bosses in Daemon Protocol grants you coin codes to use the main game.

Join in the camaraderie, sacrifice your mana... and everyone benefits from it.

[DISCLAIMER]: You'll need a Discord account and to join the Ardron Universe server to play... duh.

See the DLC pages for more in depth Information

So. That’s the gist of it.
Wishlist if you want to keep up with things.

When you buy this game, it’s yours.
Not a subscription. Not a license you’re renting.
You paid for it,  you keep it. Period.

There’s no DRM here.
You can copy it, back it up, install it offline, it’ll still run.
Steam is optional. It’s just a convenience layer.
You’ll lose things like achievements, cloud saves, and Steam servers, but everything else still works, including P2P multiplayer. Long as you know how to port forward, you don't need Steam at all.

The only thing you can’t do is claim you made it.
Everything else? mod it, play it, don't play it and keep it as one of those 500 games you'll "get too eventually"?

Sure, go wild.

Want to turn off Steam’s DRM entirely?
There will be an included read me telling you how to do so in the PLAYERFILES folder.

[Help Wanted]

look. I know the art’s rough and the music’s kinda trash. that’s fine,  it got the point across.
but I want the Ardron Universe to actually look and sound like what’s in my head.

so: I’m hunting for two people.

  • Pixel Artist: UI, backgrounds, sprites, the whole crunchy aesthetic package.

  • Musician: retro console style,  NES/SNES energy, 5-channel or MIDI-based compositions.

[Requirements]

you’ll have creative freedom,  follow your instincts, your vibe, your weird.
just make sure it fits the world’s tone and context. cohesion is key.
I can be picky, but I’m fair.

I work fast, but I’m not gonna demand crunch. if you’ve got a job, a life, whatever,  cool.
just keep a reasonable turnaround, and open communication <-- that one's important.

If you're busy? can't work? life gets in the way? Let. me. know.

Otherwise, you know, update me what you're working on, so I can give pointers, critiques, etc etc.

I know how long I take to do pixel art and music, so if you're slower than a newbie, that's kind of unacceptable. ya feel?

I'm basically employing you, treat it as such. You know.... Do the bare minimum to get paid 👉😎👉 but do the work.

if it’s too much, no hard feelings.
I’ll remove your work cleanly so the next person’s style doesn’t clash.

[Payment]

the split’s simple:
33% for me, 33% for the artist, 33% for the musician.
rule of threes. everyone eats, everyone’s work matters.

you’ll get paid when I do. I’ll show proof of all revenue so you know you’re getting your cut.
I’m not here to scam anyone,  just trying to finish this damn universe before I’m 80.

Using CashApp is the easiest for me, but I also have Paypal(god, screw that company...but i have it)

we’ll coordinate mostly on Discord (required).
if you’re interested, hit me up on Discord. (Post in the Applications channel)

or email me at TophatsAndTales@gmail.com. include some of your work as attachments, obviously.

[Final Words]

let’s build something worth remembering, besides all this other "get rich quick" cash grab bullshit on the store anymore.

Why post on here instead of like...reddit?

Well one... have ya been on reddit? no thanks.

Two. The only mf that's going to care enough to even attempt this position is someone passionate about games, not someone trying to farm karma with their totally legit "yard sale finds".

So yeah. PEACE~

Nope scrap this part - deleted

Well I guess with Daemon Protocol in the mix now. I can proudly say Daemon Protocol uses Ai generated images for its fight system on Discord. Why? It matches the universe/aesthetics/ and everything else.
If you told a holodeck to generate (x) enemy? Yeah. you'd get AI images. so 😎 deal with it.

Descrição do conteúdo adulto

Descrição dos desenvolvedores sobre o conteúdo:

Well with Ashes of Arcanum. The GM can do and create anything. so your mileage may vary.

In Graces Lament, The main character will possibly fight and kill many creatures, and may use resources that are "drugs" to get temporary boosts.
