為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「Space Corps is a new card game with features not seen in other card games. For example, there are two values for attack and two values for defense compared to other games that only have one for each. There are also dice rolls included in the combat to introduce uncertainty. Testing these features for balance is important to ensure a variety of card decks can be competitive before players choose which color and card choices to add to their collection. Therefore, we are releasing Space Corps in Early Access to allow players to test out the card game and provide balance feedback and other suggestions for development. 」

這款遊戲的搶先體驗時間大約會持續多久？

「Space Corps is not a very complex game, but it is being developed by a small indie team. It should not take more than a year to complete the game even for a small, focused team. 」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「On release Space Corps should have updated card frames and images, different 3d models for each of the color sets, better animations, audio, arena levels and UI. The main menu and deck editor should also get a complete UX overhaul. In addition to making the card game look and sound good, there will also be card pack sales, stats and rankings, and other possible additions like leagues, tournaments, etc. In the full release version of the game, players will not start with all cards unlocked, they will need to purchase card packs.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「The card game itself is playable almost exactly as designed; there are only a few minor features to add or update. The deck editor is functional and players have access to all cards for the purpose of testing. The game is not cosmetically pleasing right now, and the animations happen very quickly, but hopefully soon it will be more user friendly to follow along with the math of combat. For now, if you want to look at the dice rolls and results you can take a screenshot while they are displayed. 」

遊戲售價在搶先體驗期間前後會有所變動嗎？

「Players that purchase Space Corps in Early Access on Steam will have access to all of the cards currently playable in the game so they can test without any additional purchase for the entire duration of Early Access. At full release, players who purchased the game in Early Access on Steam will be assigned a token that can be exchanged for a Starter Pack from whichever color they choose. Buying the game in Early Access will be at least a 50% discount compared to the normal price of a Starter Pack after full release.」

「The purpose of an Early Access for Space Corps is to receive feedback on the card game based on its features, balance and bugs to make it as smooth and balanced as it can be by full release.
