Why do the best country house parties always seem to end in murder? There’s nothing wrong with tea and polite conversation, of course — but a nice juicy mystery can certainly liven up a dull weekend. Luckily, one of your fellow guests has obliged by getting themselves murdered. Huzzah! Now it’s up to you to gather clues, interview suspects, and piece together the truth of what really happened tonight.

A Matter of Murder: Second Stab is a point-and-click puzzle game with roguelite elements, inspired by the golden age of detective fiction. In Case Mode, solve a series of progressively more complex mysteries, or put your little grey cells to work in Generative Mode, which remixes puzzle elements to create a fresh mystery every time you play. For detectives seeking a sterner test, Story Mode provides a three-act mystery with new mechanics, sharper twists, and a more intricate story.
