Miksi Early Access?

Solo developer in need of some help to balance the game. Kept the scope to the three main heroes for early access with plans to add more like Yuan Shao, Dong Zhuo, Yellow Turbans, etc...

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Approximately 3 months

More heroes to choose from instead of base 3 with a lot more cards to accompany the added heroes. Maybe some new game mechanics like morale and supply statistics which would vary the ways a player has to win

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

First version in the very beginning of the three kingdoms era. All officers available in early access are from the 189-194 era from the main heroes of the time, Liu Bei, Cao Cao and Sun Jian. There are also neutral characters like soldiers, archers, captains, etc...
Early access will include 10 solo player campaigns as well as games against AI or other players.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

The game will always be free to play with free ways to earn in game currency to acquire packs, there will be an option to buy currency.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

Since the plan is to add other main heroes from that era (189-194) like Dong Zhuo, Yuan Shao and Ma Teng, need to make sure the game as is will be as balanced as possible, the more players that can play online matches or complete the campaigns and provide feedback, the better it will be when we implement the other heroes. Beyond that, it would be possible to extend gameplay to later eras and introduce even more heroes and characters

Fate of the Three Kingdoms is a turn base card game about the era of the Three Kingdoms.

Collect different heroes from the time ranging like Liu Bei, Cao Cao and Sun Jian. Deploy tactics that act as spells in traditional card games. Equip legendary weapons and horses or lay traps like Ambush or Empty City.

Play solo against the AI or online against other players. Complete the various solo campaign scenarios to earn rewards in game.

The objective of the game is to defeat the other player (AI or real) by bringing their total to 0 or less. This can be done by using your deployed units (hero cards) to attack them or by depleting their card stack to 0, each turn after cumulative damage is applied. You can earn coins to buy packs by playing online games against other players or completing the ten campaigns.

Early access will have the Shu, Wei and Wu factions with a total of 65 cards including some neutral characters and tactics. Plans would be to later on add factions led by Dong Zhuo, Yuan Shao and Ma Teng to name a few.
