Why Early Access?

“The game will evolve with feedback from streamers and their communities over time, meaning more minigames, items, gamemodes, cosmetics, redeems and other features will be added. Once enough content has been added and expanded upon, the game will be ready for full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are estimating that it will take around 1 year from release until the game is ready to leave early access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to have a wide variety of features available in the full version to keep streamers entertained for hours on end without running out of things to do with their viewers. These features will be based on the foundations laid out in Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access contains the core features and systems that will be present in the full release, but there is a lot of room to keep expanding on these features and adding more depth to them.”

“The game will remain free to play with optional paid DLCs for streamers.”

About This Game

Welcome to BYTEWORLD, the ultimate experience that aims to bring streamers and viewers together like never before!

  • Invite your viewers to join you directly and bond with your community like never before!

  • Chat and interact with your viewers in real-time using the multiplayer network

  • Speak directly with viewers using the optional in-game voice chat

  • Play Twitch integrated minigames with viewers and chat at the same time

  • Invite other streamers to collaborate and join you as VR avatars

  • Discover new streamers to connect with using the built in browser

  • Only works with Twitch at the moment, but more platforms may be added in the future!

As a streamer (with the paid DLC), you will be able to host your own sessions as a giant VR avatar! With Twitch integration, minigames, various environments and plenty of items to cause chaos, you'll be able to interact with your community like never before!

As a free-to-play viewer, you will be able to discover new streamers or join your favourites live on stream as a little Byte! You'll be able to interact, message and even voice chat with the streamer and other community members! You can also play minigames, or even be brought into VR yourself as a guest!

To really show off your creative fashion sense, there are a wide range of cosmetics that can be worn by your Byte, ranging from funky hats to funky glasses and everything in-between! All you need to do is open your free daily crate and see what you get, or if you just can't wait, you can also purchase them from the shop.

No stream is complete without an amazing background environment, so feel free to check out the built-in level editor! You can design amazing worlds for your streamer to check out, and upload it directly to the Steam Workshop for anyone to download. The possibilities are endless!
