Our goal is to create an engaging and polished experience, and your input will help shape aspects such as additional heroes/classes, story elements, environments, balance adjustments, and potential multiplayer features. By joining us early, you'll be part of the journey as we work toward bringing this action-packed, co-op adventure to its full potential. Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our goal is to release the game in phases, starting with Act 1. We aim to have this milestone ready sometime in 2025, with plans for open testing potentially between June and September. This phase is focused on establishing the core technology, gameplay systems, and a significant portion of the story. While development is ongoing, we plan to provide regular updates and expand content as progress continues.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our vision for the full version of the game is to expand upon the Early Access foundation with additional content and features. While development will evolve based on player feedback, here are some of the ideas we hope to implement:
  • 4 to 6 playable classes, each with unique playstyles and abilities
  • All 4 acts fully playable, completing the epic campaign
  • Expanded skills, gear, and side quests for all acts and characters
  • Online multiplayer to join forces with friends worldwide
  • Even more content based on community feedback and player suggestions

“The current state of the game includes:

  • Act 1 is playable but still in active development
  • Two classes are available, both in active development
  • Single-player mode is fully playable
  • Local co-op for up to 4 players using gamepads

“During Early Access, the game will be available at a lower price. This price will remain unchanged throughout the Early Access period, even as new content is introduced. Once development is complete, we plan to increase the price to reflect the final version of the game.”

“As mentioned, open testing is planned as an important part of the early development phases. Our goal is to refine classes and gameplay by iterating on player feedback. Venture beneath the burning sands. Face an ancient evil. Survive... or be consumed.

Under a Desert Sun: Seekers of the Cursed Vessel is a single-player and co-op action RPG set against the backdrop of World War II and the supernatural legends of ancient Egypt. Play solo or team up with friends in local co-op, with future plans for online multiplayer support. Battle through intense combat, deadly traps, and supernatural hordes as you unravel a dark tale of ancient curses, lost treasures, and personal redemption.

Take up arms as one of two available heroes, with two more in active development during Early Access:

  • The Soldier – A gruff American WWII veteran, skilled in firearms and explosives. His loyalty to his fallen comrades drives him into a fight far beyond the battlefield he knows.

  • The Adventurer – A tough-as-nails treasure hunter with Nigerian roots. Sharp with a pistol and sharper with her wit, she’s in it for the gold—but destiny has other plans.

  • Two More Heroes Coming Soon – Stay tuned as Early Access evolves with new heroes, expanded skill trees, and stories that deepen the fight against the Heretic King.
