Alongside bringing the essence of the Chessplus board game to life digitally, there’s room to add polish, new features and modes to make it even better — and we’d love for you to be part of that journey.」

「We might remain in Early Access for around 6 months, but that will change depending on how the game develops with player feedback.」

「We plan for for the Full Version to have updated art, more online metagame features (ELO ranking etc) and the Roguelike Adventure mode completed with your suggestions and feedback gathered during Early Access.」

「We plan to launch the Early Access version with Singleplayer vs AI and Multiplayer and the first iteration of the Roguelike Adventure mode. We plan to expand the Roguelike Adventure mode over time with your feedback!」

「We might increase the price during Early Access period as additional content and features are added.」

To celebrate selling 50,000+ physical sets, the award-winning Australian board game, Chessplus, now gets a video game.

More Possibilities. More Strategies. More Blunders.

Move as either piece: Move two pieces onto the same square using traditional chess moves to create powerful hybrids such as the "Biook", Bishop + Rook, and move as a combined piece.
Split pieces strategically: Careful! You'll lose both your Queen + Knight if your "Quight" is captured, split them again for strategic positioning to capture your opponent's King.
Endless Strategies: Exponentially more moves than chess, open by rocketing your Rook + Pawn as a "Roawn" across the board for a quick promotion to make an extra Queen.

Deckbuilder Roguelike.

Master Variants: Battle progressively harder AI in different variants such as Fog of War and King of the Hill before taking on a Grandmaster boss battle.
Unleash game-changing abilities: Craft your deck with ability cards such as "Copy Cat" to copy the last piece you captured or "Blunder" to take a turn for the opposition.
Choices Matter: Every run is different. Every piece you sacrifice, reward you choose or minigame you win will dramatically change the outcome of your run.

Cross-platform Online Multiplayer.

Grind your ELO: Outwit opponents in ranked play and become the world's first Chessplus Grandmaster.
Compete in whacky variants: Play against your friends in custom variants such as King of the Hill with the Roguelike ability cards enabled for drafting.
Practice makes perfect: Practice your openings against our custom Chessplus engine and review your past games to see where you blundered.
