About This Demo

The Three Kingdoms of Shadows Demo is a faction-struggle and resource-management strategy game that I independently developed. In this demo, players will experience the events leading up to taking control of Xuzhou.

As a leader in a chaotic era, you must find a balance between policy management, resource limitations, war, and law. The main focus of the game is managing cities and society, but you will also need to navigate diplomacy with other lords and make crucial decisions based on historical events.

The theme of conspiracy runs through this work. Historically, Liu Bei was chosen by Tao Qian as his successor, but in this story, based on speculations from Records of the Three Kingdoms and The Heroes’ Record, it’s suggested that his rise was orchestrated by the powerful families of Chen Deng and Mi Zhu. They saw Liu Bei's inexperience as a key factor in making him the ideal puppet.
