“LA2079 deeply believes in the value of feedback and playtesting. We would love to utilize Early Access to release our game's first 3 worlds, which would be 9 stages, and 3 factions. We have an additional 7 worlds planned, with 2 hidden worlds not included, each with 3 stages and at least 13 new enemies per world. We will use Early Access to gain player feedback on systems and game play loop, as well as to help tune the later game play stages. Early Access will also help us find the prioritization on alternative game play modes for appropriate inclusion or exclusion for 1.0 release.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“We anticipate Early Access taking approximately 1 year to 1.5 years. We have planned many additional stages we will create using a combination of procedural generation and hand-designed stages. There is an in-place method to generating new stages.”

“The planned 1.0 release of Trials of Enkidu should feature a narrative mode, more worlds to battle in, more enemies from a diverse set of armies across many factions, multiple game modes, a fully original soundtrack composed by a Grammy-nominated composer, combining for a nearly limitless amount of replayability. We have plans for a half dozen or more worlds, with 3 stages in each, beyond the Early Access stages, additional factions, and many more enemies and enemy types beyond the ones already present in the game. We want the Trials of Enkidu to be a thrilling, action-packed RPG, filled with vibrant enemy armies, weapons, time periods, and settings. ”

Hvad er den nuværende tilstand for versionen med tidlig adgang?

“The Early Access version has 9 working stages & a simple text tutorial, Levels 1-1 through 3-3. There are already 100 enemies which players can encounter in the first 9 stages available in Early Access. The state of certain VFX and other art assets are temporary or in a state of change. The state of implemented sprites are in their pre-release state and are subject to change, primarily animation timing. Players are able to recruit companions, earn and equip gear, assign party members to assist them in their journey, and customize their loadouts between runs. ”

Ændrer spillets pris sig under og efter tidlig adgang?

“Yes, the final version of the game will retail between 50% & 100% higher than the cost of Early Access. We intend on adding more worlds with 3 stages each to the final version, having many additional factions, and their associated companions, weapons, gear drops, and reputation rewards. Final release plans also include additional game modes beyond the ones planned for Early Access. We do have DLC plans after final release for additional factions beyond those available at the launch of the game.”

Hvordan har I tænkt jer at involvere fællesskabet i jeres udviklingsproces?

“We will have a discord available for commentary on the state of gameplay, balancing, bug testing/fixes, community modding access, and other critical community features. These are all meant to give players a chance to leave feedback on their experience so that we can improve the quality of the gameplay over time. These forums are already active. The community will also help us develop prioritization for upcoming features on our roadmap in order for us to serve the player demand primarily, ”
