Plus, you don't have to worry about paying for another subscription service. AI Pals is developed with offline first in mind. You can run it completely offline, giving you complete control over your data and AI.

What can I do in the AI Pals Demo?

Test firsthand whether your PC can handle the latest cutting-edge AI models and discover the power of Local Text AI with the Demo!
The Demo includes the Chat-Mode from the full version. You can chat fully with pre-built and custom AI personalities, but without advanced features such as text-to-speech, speech-to-text, group chat and memory from the full version.

On top of it, you can test predefined AI Pals and AI Spaces (without all the customization options available in the full version or the ability to add or create Pals/Spaces). Try an AI-based guessing mini-game or place a simple AI Pal as a widget right on your desktop!

Designed for desktop PCs, AI Pals unlocks powerful offline AI experiences. There are quite large models out there, so in other words, the more powerful your PC, the more capable models you can run in terms of output quality and understanding your intent. Modern GPUs are partially supported, with the fastest performance coming from the CUDA 12.1 runtime (NVIDIA RTX cards), and broader but slower support from the Vulkan runtime.

AI Pals comes with an offline AI Guard System that ensures responsible use of AI technology by adhering to the EULA and Steam's Live Content Generation Rules - Please be aware of these rules; they may restrict you. AI Pals was created to entertain, spark imagination, and encourage AI use while helping you discover its potential and limitations.
