City of Dolorosa is an interactive fiction and first-person exploration game that blends walking simulator and visual novel elements. Both the environments and characters are hand-drawn using india ink in a colorful and vibrant style. Set in a city of Hell inhabited by bizarre demons, you will be caught up in a battle for power, with several possible endings.

Dive into an underworld full of quirky characters, and learn about their stories while you figure out your own destiny. Encounter two-dimensional creatures roaming a three-dimensional city, all entirely hand-drawn using india ink.

Get to know your demons

Interact with multiple characters in visual-novel styled conversations with branching dialogues, where your choices may affect the course of your journey. Unveil the main story and the different subplots that surround the inhabitants of Dolorosa.

Discover your fate

You’ve been sentenced to a lifetime in Hell and you still can’t fathom why. Before you know, you’ve found yourself involved in a plot of demonic power succession, of which you’ll play a key role. Wander through the streets of the City of Dolorosa, meet the Five Great Powers and shed light upon your soul’s fate.
