“We want to involve players in guiding the game through to its final form. Learning from players what works, what doesn’t, and finding cool new ideas or solutions from the community.”

“Roughly 6 months to a year. The current plan is to get a full release late 2025. This could change depending on community feedback and which features we add or adjust during the Early Access process.”

“The game can be played all the way through in its current state, replayable in the rogue-like fashion. However, only the first act of the story is unlocked. This will not affect how many times the player can run through the game or how many upgrades the player can access. Currently there is a large variety of enemies and skills to play and experiment with.”

“Early Access is intended to be a lower price than the final version of the game, the price might also increase during early access as we add content, though we will be sure to post a pre-warning ahead of time before any price change.”

“Players can join the Discord and chat with us about ideas or improvements, there will also be optional anonymous surveys through Early Access, and we are active in Steam forums. Private betas will also be available for active members of the community that want to have more impact on the final game.

We want to hear from players about how the game feels, how it’s balanced, abilities and upgrade ideas, accessibility requests, etc... to help shape the final game into the best "escape from hell" experience we could make.”

Take the wheel as Lucky, an arrogant greaser, as she battles the Devil and her legion of darkness.  Sentenced to an eternity of reaping souls with no final exit in sight, she’ll take down every Devil-sent demon and undead summoned to torment her, and leave them hitchhiking for eternity. Leather jackets, pompadours, grease, and gasoline. A world gushing with style as thick as oil and carnage at 100mph.

Gunning for the End of the Road

As a Road Reaper, you’re bound to the very highway where you drew your last breath and condemned to harvest mortal souls for what may be eternity. Yet behind the wheel, you are a force to be reckoned with and you've got that shotgun shine. You'll gun down every Devil-sent demon and undead on your way to that elusive end of the road. With each attempt to escape your hell, you'll grow stronger and unravel more about yourself and the world you're tethered to.

Perks, Powers, and Pit Stops

Need to make a pit stop? Make strategic stops and visit other Road Reapers on route who will lend you their powers and help you go that extra mile. Choose to visit key allies along the way to score new perks, abilities, and skills, which when combined create powerful character builds that’ll make the Devil herself tremble in fear.

Geared for Replayability

No two attempts to escape your tether are ever the same. With each attempt, discover more about your fellow Reapers, the fiends who stand in your way, and even yourself. Enemies who get the best of you and ran you off the road in previous runs will remember you. Stop by the Junkyard to purchase permanent upgrades to soup-up your ride and earn that revenge.

The Devil’s Diabolical Designs

The Devil is always one step ahead as she orchestrates her symphony of carnage against you. Enemies sent to stop your escape will differ in number and strength, as she watches your every move and fine-tunes her strategy. She is always plotting against you.
