This event granted certain powers to some individuals called the Order of the Dark Parallel, allowing them to control aspects such as life and death.  

A young family of scientists is studying the impact of this cataclysm on society while investigating a series of mysterious disappearances and murders linked to the Dark Parallel. But for Adamey Bree, everything becomes personal only when opposing forces take his wife's life under inexplicable circumstances.
