About the Game

Okugafuchi Shopping District is a single-player, first-person exploration horror game.

Story

Bound by the unreasonable orders of a powerful landowner, a timid real estate employee visits the abandoned Okugafuchi Shopping District—once the site of a series of bizarre suicides.

Tasked with performing a mysterious ritual for redevelopment, he wanders the empty streets according to cryptic instructions.

But a ghostly woman, forever searching for something, roams the ruins and interferes with the ritual. Through old documents and journals, the protagonist gradually uncovers the hidden legends and tragic past of Okugafuchi…

Setting

The environment was designed based on real-life abandoned shopping districts and ruins found across Japan.

Ruins Exploration Mode (For Non-Horror Players)

Like the previous game, this title includes a "Ruins Exploration Mode" for players who are not comfortable with horror elements.

• Explore the ruins freely without any scares.

• Change the time of day to experience different atmospheres.

• Use the in-game camera feature to take photos of the abandoned scenery.

Playtime

Estimated playtime: 2–3 hours.
