Why Early Access?

“I'd love to have a wider audience have a chance to see my game and it will be especially vital to me to receive any feedback possible so that the state of my game can improve.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be in early access for 6-7 months where continuous updates will be pushed and players will be able to pitch in during this process to provide any feedback they can.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version I plan to include numerous bonus content as well as having the final world and boss fight. This final version will have secret bosses that early access will not be able to have.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is currently 60% done with base game content with steady progress underway. Up to 15 levels are currently playable with 16 in game achievements that can be unlocked. Additionally, level collectibles are available which can be used to upgrade abilities and stats fr the player. There are a small visual oddities and gameplay bugs currently. The use of feedback provided by my players will help speed up the polishing process being worked on.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price will be increased to $12.99 USD on release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Using a community discord server, players can send feedback and help with the polishing process.”

About This Game

Go forth, it is you who will save the universes... from annihilation.

Cappi: Starbound Saga is a 2D platformer with gameplay styles inspired by the Kirby and Sonic series. With Cappi, use powerful abilities and maintain speed to be able to save the galaxy in record time.

Cappi Starr is a young star traveler who wishes to speed through the galaxy carefree someday.

Atlas Zan is an intergalactic geologist traveling with Cappi to learn more of the worlds and remind Cappi of his duty as a Hero of Light.

Ruv Hector Drevalin is a wandering swordsman hanging with Cappi to uphold his motto of keeping justice in the galaxy.

Cappi is very versatile and diverse in his kit and abilities.

Cappi is equipped at all times with his trusty Prism Yoyo. He can swing it horizontally and vertically to catch foes high and low. Cappi also can stomp on the ground to attack foes relentlessly or to catch his bearings. It can also be used to go down slopes to gain great speed.

In addition to this, Cappi and use the abilities of defeated enemies to power up his yoyo!

Using these abilities, his damage, moveset and mobility get an upgrade or are completely new! Use the abilities to your advantage to mow down the Cursed and make it to the goal quickly and easily!
