What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“As a single developer it is difficult to create something to fit everyones needs. I hope to use the time in early development to finish what features I already have planned, fix any bugs that players may come across, and even implement new features that I myself didn't think about. I hope that you the users will be able to provide me with insight to help make this app a better tool for everyone to use.

TLDR:
1: Implement Slow Roll and Manual Selection methods of generating a creature.
2: Improve feature through user feedback.
3: Add features that user requests that was not previously planned.
4: Once 1-3 are complete we will move out of early access.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“This is hard to give an exact time frame for, but I am hoping for no more than three months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early access is to fine tune it to the community, so this could include new ways to create the creatures, or simply allowing the UI to be altered by the user. But if no changes are requested then there should be little to no difference.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“As of right now you can generate a creature, roll a d20 for stat checks, roll a d20 for profenciency checks, view creature discription where it tells you how many and what kind of structure the body parts have. You can also change its "challenge rating" to give it either higher stats overall to make it more difficult to fight, or lower it if you made it too difficult for the players in your table-top rpg to handle.

The current state of early access is missing two features from the end result that I plan on having finished before the game comes out of early access:
1: Slow Roll - This feature will allow you to randomly generate one body part at a time, which can be used to more as an art prompt app or to reroll things that dont seem to fit what you are looking for.
2: Manual Selection - Skip the random and select each part that you want your creature to have, you will also be able to leave options on Random so you don't have to select everything yourself.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The current and future price of the application will not change.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is a great source of feedback and a viable way to recieve issues on different builds of machines that I do not have access to, their reports and suggestions will go into developing a more refined version of the application for everyone to use and enjoy.”

About This Game

This is an application to allow the instant creation of creatures to bring to your table top rpg campaigns to encite the unknown to your players. This is not a full fledged game on its own, but you will be able to roll dice for its stat block and attacks. You will be able to save creatures that you have made, and even share the seed generated by each unique creature so others can view or use it for their campaigns.

You will be able to alter the stats of the monsters by changing its challenge rating and have its values update in real time, allowing you to easily change a difficult creature to something a little easier to hit, or something thats hits a little harder.
