Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The Early Access phase is expected to last approximately 6 months to a year. During this period, we will continually update the game content and make improvements based on player feedback. The exact duration will be adjusted depending on development progress and player needs, but our goal is to gradually polish the game until it reaches its full potential.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version represents the foundation of the game, offering core gameplay mechanics and an introduction to the story. As development progresses, we aim to expand the game with additional content and features. This may include:
New story chapters and plot developments
Expanded exploration areas and puzzles
Improvements to character animations and AI
These plans are subject to change based on development priorities and community feedback. Our focus during Early Access is to refine the game and ensure it evolves in a direction that resonates with players.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, the Early Access version offers the basic gameplay, where players can explore the initial areas of "The City of Rain." The core mechanic of the game revolves around using music to unlock forgotten stories, guiding the player through collecting clues and repairing music using a music box. While the game is not yet fully completed, we have provided a functional foundation for players to interact with, and we plan to continue adding more content in future updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“This is a fan-made game, completely free to play, with the development costs fully funded by the project director. Therefore, the game will remain free to play both during Early Access and after its official release. The goal of this game is to share our passion with players and to build a community, and as such, all content will be available for free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We believe community involvement is essential to the development process, and we plan to engage with our players in the following ways:

Regular updates and feedback: After each update, we will release development logs and adjust the game mechanics and content based on player feedback.
Discussion forums: We will actively engage with players in the Steam discussion forums, answering questions and collecting suggestions.
