Why Early Access?

“As this is my first game, I want to offer an Early Access version to ensure a smooth and enjoyable final release. This will allow me to gather valuable feedback, make improvements, and create a better experience for players when the full game is launched.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The duration of Early Access will largely depend on the quantity and quality of feedback I receive. However, my current goal is to release the full version by the end of 2024, approximately three months from now.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the Early Access version, you'll be able to explore the first area of the game, playable on both easy and medium difficulty.
For the full release, I plan to introduce additional features such as Steam achievements, customizable gameplay options (like adjusting lives and random events), multiple game modes, and a scoreboard.
The final version will also be expanded by including more areas available.
Additionally, I aim to include online multiplayer support, likely through a lobby system.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In the current Early Access version, you can navigate the main menu, adjust settings such as volume and graphics, and view keybinds for both keyboard and controller. Players can start either a tutorial level or the first area on easy or medium difficulty. Within the levels, you can control the character's movement (left, right, jump), access the in-game menu, toggle the HUD on or off, and view a brief guide on the area’s mechanics. Local co-op for up to 4 players is also fully implemented.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“During Early Access, the game will be completely free-to-play to encourage feedback. When the full version is released, a set price will be introduced, which is not expected to change even as new content is added in future updates.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to actively engage with the community by reading all constructive feedback submitted through Discord and Google Forms. I'll also interact with players to answer questions and discuss ideas. Community suggestions are always welcome, as the goal is to create a game that truly resonates with the players!”
