About This Game

Relive a nostalgic lifetime and make new friends as retiree and tea enthusiast Ms. Meadows in her homely boutique in the British countryside.

Sips and Sonnets lets you:

  • Be a nice old lady. The "nice" part is not optional.

  • Make a variety of teas. Learn more about each kind of tea as you play!

  • Chat up customers from all walks of life.

  • Draw inspiration from your daily interactions with your clientele to write your latest poem!

  • Your dialogue choices matter! Choose wisely and see all multiple endings! 

Inspired by our personal experiences with local tea shops across the United Kingdom, as well as countless wholesome interactions with kind and wise role models in our lives, this heartfelt visual novel tells a side less told, of a life well lived, and a youth come and gone.

Sips and Sonnets is brought to you by Blue Tango Street, the same team that gave you the brief and humble experience of Backspace Backspace Backspace. This visual novel was made possible thanks to collaborating with a group of talented artists and musicians!
