The Writ is launching in Early Access to gather community feedback and refine the game. This release includes the opening chapters, giving players a substantial first look at the story, core mechanics, combat, and puzzles. Your feedback will help shape improvements, balance gameplay, and ensure the full game meets player expectations.

I plan to keep The Writ in Early Access for approximately 1 year. During this time, your input will be invaluable in refining existing chapters, expanding content, and enhancing the overall experience. Every suggestion brings me closer to delivering the best possible final version.

I plan to expand on the Early Access version of The Writ by adding new chapters, environments, and gameplay elements. My goal is to develop a more refined story, improve combat mechanics, enhance visuals, and optimize performance. I am also considering additional language localizations. Your feedback during Early Access will play a crucial role in shaping these updates as I work toward a polished final release.

In The Writ, You will engage in intense hack&slash combat, utilizing a variety of melee weapons and combat techniques to overcome relentless enemies. Puzzles will challenge You to navigate through the shadowy realm, revealing hidden paths and secrets. As You progress, You will face moral choices that will not only affect Your journey but also the ultimate outcome of the story. The Writ is clear in its intent, but as You fight Your way through the darkness, You are forced to confront the possibility that there may be more to this mission than simply following orders.
