Varför Early Access?

“Pinevale Settlements is self-funded. However, we plan to make our game bigger and more ambitious than our funding. We aim to grow it over the years. We have received a generally positive response from the Steam community with our current demo game. We are shaping our game based on the feedback we receive from there.
Our game includes basic production, buildings, enemy attacks, defense, colony expansion, and trying to keep the colony alive, and it is playable. We aim to provide you with a fun gaming experience that will last for hours. We expect you to share your ideas with us and take part in the development of the game with your feedback.

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“The exact length of time will depend on feedback from our players on what adjustments they want to make to the core mechanics of the game, and whether we can create new maps and game modes based on what our community wants. We currently plan to exit Early Access in 18 to 36 months.”

“In addition to the in-game playable features described above, in the full version we plan to create different maps and different biomes, each with their own unique challenges, provide more variety in the core gameplay, and design levels based on feedback.
Also, during the Early Access period, community feedback will be used to determine what new game modes should be added; we have a few ideas about enemy attacks and the castle defense system.
In the full version we also plan to detail the mechanics related to expanding a settlement. These are already playable in Early Access, but we plan to add new structures to use these mechanics more effectively.
We plan to improve character and quest completion animations. We plan to diversify the game's story.”

“During Early Access we will collect and evaluate player feedback through a feedback system that we want to integrate directly into the game, and we will also be active on the Steam discussion forum.”
