Why Early Access?

“There are several features we still want to implement before we consider Miami Fighters to be done. We also want to know what you, the MF community, would like to see in Miami Fighters!”

“We aim to implement the planned features in the next 6 to 12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We thrive to optimize the replayability of the game to make every round feel unique.

Below are a few ideas we would like to implement:
  • Team mode: This will allow players to be in the same team, and be able to set friendly fire on/off
  • Temporary upgrades: Players can pick up a temporary upgrade/event that will last a certain amount of time
  • Destructable/changing environments
  • More weapons
  • More accessories
  • More maps
  • More backgrounds
  • More environment props

This list is subject to change, depending on the feedback of the MF community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In the current version you can:
  • Battle your friends (up to 4 players). It’s also possible to play against bots or have a mix of real players and bots.
  • Use a wide variety of weapons to kill your opponents and get as many points as possible before the time runs out.
  • Pick an upgrade card that fits your strategy after each round.
  • Customize your character with cool accessories.
  • Play in different arenas and try different strategies to own your opponents.
  • Configure rounds to fit your gameplay needs.

Miami Fighters is a solid game with almost no bugs. The game is fully playable and further upgrades will only enhance the gameplay experience. We support keyboard/mouse and Xbox controllers. Other controllers will probably work but key hints will show the default (Xbox) buttons. We would like to encourage our players to report bugs and send feedback as much as possible, so we can optimize the gameplay experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will be slightly higher when the game is officially done.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We love new ideas and will gladly implement them if they seem valuable to the MF community. You can submit your bugs and ideas using the steam community forum, or by using the ingame bug/feedback submission tool.”
