Every portal is a risk. Every second counts.

Octoportal is a fast-paced 2D pixel art arcade roguelike where you play as a transforming octopus racing through endless dungeons. Kill enemies for keys. Unlock portals to reveal your escape — or your doom. Pick wrong? Fight a boss. Run out of time? You're forced through blind. Master your transformations, survive the pressure, and escape before it's too late.

HUNT KEYS. UNLOCK PORTALS. ESCAPE.

Every level hides one correct portal among many. Kill enemies to collect keys. Spend keys to reveal what's behind each door — green means freedom, red means punishment. Reveal them all for safety, or rush with limited info. The choice is yours.

THE CLOCK NEVER STOPS

Every level has a timer. When it hits zero, the correct portal vanishes — and every remaining door leads to a boss. Move fast. Decide faster.

TRANSFORM. ADAPT. SURVIVE.

Collect orbs to transform your octopus for 15 seconds. Each form grants a unique ability. Only one transformation active at a time. Choose wisely.

Starting Forms:

Speedster — Blazing movement speed

Fighter — Shoot projectiles at enemies

Healer — Regenerate HP over time

Unlockable Forms:

Time-Stopper — Freeze the timer

Wall-Phaser — Walk through walls

Generator — Spawn random orbs

WRONG PORTAL? FACE THE BOSS.

Red portals don't end your run — they punish it. Get teleported to a boss arena. Defeat the boss to continue. Each boss hits hard. Every mistake costs HP you can't get back.

NO FREE HEALING

HP carries across every level. No resets. No checkpoints. The only healing comes from the Healer transformation — if you find it. Every hit matters.

ESCAPE. UNLOCK. MASTER.

Beat level 20 → Credits roll → New transformation unlocks → Start fresh

Unlock all 11 forms → Endless Mode opens → No level cap → Leaderboards
