Why Early Access?

“Given that Abatron is a work in progress we believe that by using the community that early access provides, the game will evolve beyond our greatest expectations! By being as transparent as possible with our open development, we think the player community will become involved and contribute ideas that shape the final version of the game. A game that rts and fps players can enjoy together.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our projection is approximately 1 year, with a full release by late 2017.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“While the core mechanics and base foundation are available to play at our Early Access launch, there are many planned features and content updates that will be added during the course of the year up to release. In addition to planned features, we will be open to and incorporate suggestions from the Early Access Community.

In addition to a ton of bug fixes, networking optimizations, performance improvements, and major polishing, the game will be a visually stunning, bug free experience when it’s ready for release. We also plan to support a long-term, post release content, lifecycle.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Abatron is very playable and stable in its current state. We made versions of the game publicly available several months before early access and have made significant improvements from the feedback received.

Player vs Player, Ai vs Player, and Coop vs Ai modes are all available to play. The characters available to play are fun and provide skilled abilities to master.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, during Early Access the game will be lower in price relative to is final full version retail price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have an active developer Slack group http://abatrongame.slack.com along with a Trello roadmap at Early Access Launch that keeps us in constant communication with our Abatron community. Intense interaction by the team and the supporters doesn't stop there. We are available on most social media outlets as well as here on Steam.
