“Beneath The Six has been in development for over two years and is currently packed with content and replayability:

- Flexible Game Modes: You can now enjoy two core experiences. The Quest system allows you to choose from a variety of Quests, like Treasure Hunt and Gauntlet, that offer flexible session lengths and objectives. The Arena offers a daily randomized, wave-based mode for focused combat challenges.

- Unique Character Customization: Unlock and collect a full collection of over 100 unique dice sets consiting of 4 different rarities. Use these sets to create and blend an immense range of powerful character builds.

- Progression Track: Engage with the new Accolades System to earn consistent Golden Shards

- Skills & Gear: Select from 3 character classes (Fighter, Mage, Rogue). Each class features 10 active skills and 6 passive abilities to master. Utilize a range of 9 different weapons, each with its own unique attack mechanic, and equip 7 different sets of armor.

- Loot & Utility: Discover a plethora of useful items, including potions, scrolls, bombs, magical tomes, and more.

About This Game

Welcome to The Six, a magical world where dice define your identity. You are an adventurer trapped in a timeloop at the mercy of a chaotic, impish DM. Every 24 hours, the dungeon beneath the surface morphs and shifts, revealing new secrets and relics which hold the key to your escape.

Beneath The Six is a roguelike experience featuring a revolving array of daily quests, a brutal Arena mode, and 4-player co-op. Collect sets of dice to forge powerful hybrids of fighters, mages, or rogues. Overcome the DM’s daily whims, trade with friends to complete your collection, and—one day, perhaps—escape The Six.

With over 130 unique dice sets to collect, the possibilities for character builds are nearly endless. Every set carries its own stats, weapons, and skills. Complete Daily Quests

The Quest Board is your hub for adventure, giving you agency over your session length and objectives.

Variety and Choice: Choose from various daily quest types with randomized lengths and goals.
Discoverable Content: Find "Quest Posters" as loot during your runs. Successfully bring them back to the Overworld to add them to your Quest Board.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Beneath The Six features an AI narrator who serves as a dungeon master to guide you and comment on your experiences in the daily generated content.

We commissioned actor Tom Canton (The Witcher TV series) to record a library of dialogue. This was then used by ElevenLabs to train the AI voice. Both Magicave and ElevenLabs have a commitment to ensuring the rights of voice actors are protected. Magicave has assigned ownership of the AI voice to Tom Canton, licensing it from him for use in the game, while allowing him the freedom to use his AI voice in other media – whether games, voiceovers, animations, audiobooks or movies (https://www.gamewatcher.com/news/beneath-the-six-turn-based-roguelike).

Each day we generate new daily content for the dungeon and arena. As part of this we pass the generation data to an LLM to create dialogue for the AI narrator so they can comment on the content included for that day.

Some of the daily generated content for the arena and dungeon modes use an LLM to create names for two other purposes. One is for creating the name of any Champion enemies which appear in the dungeon. The other is for creating a name for the daily arena run.
