Why Early Access?

“We want to give ourselves the time needed to add everything we have planned for this game, whilst also getting the feedback and suggestions from the players to help us fine-tune the experience to produce the perfect movement system. A lot of the mechanics and moves have never been implemented in a game before, especially not on this scale and with this much variety, which means we will have to break some of the conventions people are used to. We want to ensure that in doing so, we're keeping the movement and controls intuitive, responsive and most importantly FUN! And we think the best the way to do that is with the players and community!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be in early access for 6-12 months, with frequent updates to the game, adding new mechanics and content throughout the early access period.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full release, we want to expand the Isle of Dogs open world, add in more gameplay mechanics with a refined and polished control system driven by player feedback. Add more missions and challenges throughout the world. Expand the multiplayer system to include leader-boards, challenges and events. Create and include more customisation options and variation for your characters, and make overall improvements to optimisation and accessibility.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The open world map has three unique areas, the council estate, skyscrapers and construction site. You and your friends can freely explore the map with numerous parkour mechanics and movements, completing missions and challenges throughout and customising your character with various clothing and style options.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Since the full release will have more content, mechanics and even more replay-ability, we plan to review the price closer to release to ensure it fairly reflects the scale, scope and polish of the final game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community through frequent gameplay and development updates, including shorter progress updates and longer development BTS episodes giving an insight into the process of making the game. Additionally, we plan on running more in-person playtests and pop ups, as well as regular livestreams and Q&A's to get feedback and answer any questions from the community.”
