« The game is at a playable state but still far from our intended goal. The early access allows us to bring the game into the player's hand to get a preview of what is to come and provide us with valuable feedback and criticism. We're hoping to use this opportunity to continue on with development while keeping some transparency and steering the development towards the fan's wishes. »

« Given what we aim to achieve with the project, we are expecting a release by the end of 2025. »

« The full version aims to offer varying game modes both online and offline as well as endless modes for those wishing to come back for more. Our goal is to offer an online game mode with progression and continuous support, Campaigns for players to delve into the world of Warcoven and its lore, and procedural modes for the ones who always seek more content. »

Quel est l'état actuel de la version en accès anticipé ?

« The current state of Warcoven consists of the Arcade mode where players can experience the combat against one another in peer to peer 1v1 matches or offline against an computer opponent. The current state does not include any progression or persistent data and all units are free to be used. This state will change after we are satisfied with the turn based combat of the game. »

Le prix du jeu sera-t-il différent pendant et après l'accès anticipé ?

« The price will increase as we add content and finalize the features of the game. One of our main goal is to offer a free online version of the game after the release with more offline content as downloadable content. »

« The community can join the discord server to provide their feedback or suggestions directly to the team. »

Combat

Warcoven's turn base combat takes place on a board formed of hexagonal tiles and populated by natural and magical obstacles and effects. Players deploy their units strategically before facing off using skills, spells and blades.

Units

Players must choose their warriors wisely and combine their abilities in combat to surprise and outwit their opponent with magical combinations.

Skills & Spells

Warcoven is a world taken over by growing spellcasters of all type abusing the natural elements to their will to cause storms, wildfires and other catastrophes.

Arcade Mode

The arcade mode aims to present the combat to players in a 1v1 online or offline match. Here, players can freely pick their units to experiment and compete in friendly matches with their friends using join codes.
