“Ascendant Realms is an indie game created by a solo game developer.
The game itself has a rather big scope and the list of planned features is constantly expanding. The version in which the game will enter early access will be fully playable but will not have all of the planned features, instead opting into gradually implementing and improving the existing ones over time.

Early access allows me to gradually and methodically fully develop features and ideas that the game intends to provide while already sharing the current state of the game and receiving feedback that greatly aids in the development.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“The plan is to release the game after approximately one year of Early Access. This time might be impacted by factors such as player feedback which takes crucial role in the decision making process. Depending on the changes needed and time it takes to implement them that time might be extended further.”

“It is planned to have full modding support, online ranked multiplayer, all technological ages (ranging from ancient times to modern times) and full technology tree available as well as additional tools like the map editor, campaign editor and custom game content designer. Full goal road map may still differ.”

“The current version of the game offers easily customizable procedurally generated random maps, skirmishes in multiplayer with friends or against AI enemies, technologies from the medieval period, and rule sets to customize your gameplay and a few custom maps. We have also introduced Steam workshop support and map editor.”

“The price will change only if very significant changes are brought about that themselves increase the value of the game substantially.”

“Player will have access to testing branches on Steam that will contain experimental builds of the game, intended to provide feedback on significant changes made to the game.
An in game bug reporter and questionnaire will allow for an easy hands-off feedback about the game.
